Diamond You Projects CIC (DYP) is an innovative and a transparent organisation who looks to be at the forefront of being system changers within the youth and criminal justice sectors. DYP pride itself in coming from a thought provoking approach within it’s workshops. The organisation is built on the foundations of lived experience, education and honesty.
All of our team members are trained and qualified within the Mental Health; Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE); Child Criminal Exploitation (CCE) and Youth Justice Sectors.
WHO?
DYP CIC was founded by Samantha Browne, with the vision of changing the youth and criminal justice system and creating positive change within society. DYP has evolved to more than just a vision, and has become part of a bigger mission to implement social change and be part of preventing exploitation on a global scale.
WHAT?
Diamond You Projects provides mentoring schemes, support and educational workshops to young people, educators, parents and carers on Mental Health, Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) and Child Criminal Exploitation (CCE).
DYP’s workshops are based around key core values and beliefs and provide engaging educational content with a real and raw perspective.
WHY?
Everyone has a story, including DYPs director; who want to use their stories to change yours! Various systems have failed our director, which is why they want to come in to your systems and create a change.
DYP has the vision of seeing laws/ legislation’s change, systems change and more, but most of all, DYP wants to see your story changed and have an impact on the safety and well-being of future generations.
HOW?
We create change through education, awareness and working with organisations globally to prevent exploitation and human trafficking.
We deliver workshops for ages between 10-16
We have created mentorship programmes from ages between 16-21
We deliver workshops and training for professionals within the youth and criminal justice sectors.
We deliver keynote seminars for people within the youth and criminal justice sector.
DYP understands that everyone’s educational needs are individual and unique, which is why DYP will work with you one on one to create a tailored, bespoke workshop or set of workshops to meet your specific needs.
The mentorship we provide are of the highest standard and delivered by people with lived experience and who have worked with vulnerable people before.
Our training for professionals is based upon the perfect balance of lived experience and knowledge from working with some of the top people in their field over the years around human rights abuses, working with young and vulnerable people and creating systems change.
With set workshops that skilled trainers deliver, DYP can ensure that the next and current generations are equipped with the tools required to live a vibrant and balanced life.
All of our team have full DBS checks and have worked alongside young people prior to working alongside us.
